The Western Region of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR-West) is participating in two of the largest recreational trade shows of early 2016.
The 33rd Annual Sports, Vacation and RV Show at Quartzite, Arizona, regularly attracts over 150,000 visitors and 650 Exhibitors from all over the USA plus several from Canada, Mexico and Europe.
Located at 700 S. Central in Quartzsite the event runs for nine days, from January 16 to January 24th, 2016.
The show is described by show promoters as “the largest gathering of RVs and RVers on Earth,” but it has also been described as “Burning Man (without the Man) for those of retirement age.” Adjacent to the RV area is the annual gem and rock exhibit, a flea market, and a 69,000 square foot tent that hold the Exhibition Hall.
AANR-West will have its staff at booth #506 to discuss the joy of nude recreation and inviting show visitors to try a “Nakation” (naked vacation) at one of AANR’s 240 clubs scattered throughout North America. AANR-West plans a daily raffle where some special prizes will be awarded.
Less than a month later, AANR-West will host a booth at the Los Angeles Travel Show at the Long Beach Convention Center, 300 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, California. The show runs Saturday and Sunday February 27th and 28th.
This show tend to attract younger and more vacation-focused urban visitors than the Quartzsite Show. An estimated 50,000 visitors are expected over the two day event. Like Quartzite, the show has several hundred exhibitors signed up, all with bright and flashy displays representing products, travel companies, and countries from around the world.
AANR-West can be found at booth #650, toward the rear of the exhibit hall, but right next to the Speaker’s Stage. We will have a game wheel at this show, so everyone can win a prize by spinning it. There will also be a raffle with several prizes awarded throughout the show.
As always, we hope to see many of our members at both shows, and to speak to many first-timers curious about trying nude recreation for the first time.
